We interrupt your regularly scheduled Disney Trip report to announce…….

The little sister is turning 5!!

WOW! I can’t believe the little sister is turning 5 years old in just 12 short days!

I mean for serious. how did she go from this curly dark haired, semi blue eyed little baby doll?….

to this long, straight, blonde haired, semi brown eyed, animal lovin’, wild child?

It’s hard to believe it’s even the same girl! But it is. And I’ll just have to accept it.

Since this is the little sister’s golden Birthday we're gonna do it right, and even though we don’t live on a farm this little girlie is a farm lovin’ princess! If you ask her what she wants for her Birthday this is what she will tell you, and she wants these things in this exact order…..

A pig. A donkey. A horse. A goat. A cow. And last but not least, a farm!

Sorry little one I can’t give you a farm, but I can give you a birthday you’ll never forget!

The theme: Karsyn County Fair

The invite:

The gift?

Yup I’ve totally lost my mind! I let the husband talk me into getting the little sister 2 little piglets!

But not before I talked him into letting us get 2 of these little cuties

So while the little sister is not getting a “real” farm, she is getting one heck of a start to her very own {petting farm!}

Linking up to these awesome parties!

Disney World Journaling Day 4.. Real Men Wear Pink!!

Day 4

Breakfast at our Castle, Magic Kingdom, and fun at the Harmony Barber Shop

We had 8:15 am breakfast reservations this day at The sister’s err Cinderella’s Castle. I was so excited to get into the park before it opened for some awesome photo opps! We were awake by 6:30ish and the sisters hurried to get their “princess on”!

We got to the Magic Kingdom just in time, and I got my magical shots! Ahhhhhh! I LOVE it!

I love this picture so much! You can’t really see it here, but if you look real close, between them it says, “partners”. Melt my heart!010

After pictures it was time to head into the castle! The sister’s were mesmerized! We were greeted by Cinderella herself.

She made the most adorable comment to the little sister about weather or not she should switch her glove color to blue instead of white because surely the little sister was a real princess and her Fairy Godmother must know what she was doing! {LOVE}

The Castle was beautiful! And breakfast was Yummy! Again the little sister really only took a bite or two. Just way too much excitement for her!

I did however manage to capture this bite in action! Notice she is very careful not to let go of that magic wand!

We were visited by all the beautiful Princesses and even had a wishing ceremony! The sister’s loved this!

After breakfast we had some unfinished business to take care of that was actually supposed to happen on our first day at the Magic Kingdom.

The Husband, for as long as I have known him has always worn his hair shaved, and you will hardly ever see him without a baseball hat on. During one of my many read ups on WDW I came across some info on the Harmony Baber Shop on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. I had read and seen that they can do some pretty fun stuff at that place. It was then that the sisters and I challenged the husband to grow is hair out for the next 6 months only to have it cut in WDW! The only condition was that I got to tell the barber what to “do with him” and then he could shave the rest off that night in the hotel room. Let’s just say I’m pretty sure his jaw dropped when I told the woman how to cut and style his hair! Actually I think the stylist was a little surprised as well, she kept asking, “Can’t I just give him a normal hair cut?” LOL!

Here just see for yourself….

I was going to let him go with a more manly color, but the sisters insisted he get pink!

And  just so he wouldn’t feel left out the whole fam got a little touch of pink and pixie dust added to their hair as well!

This is a little out of order but I just love this picture of the little sister sitting outside of the barber shop!

After our hair styles we set off to Pirates of the Caribbean, The Jungle Cruise and the teacups! We all got loads of compliments on our hair and I think made some awesome money for the Harmony Barber Shop that day!

After the teacups we decided it was time for some Mickey ice cream!! YUM! And some Evil Emperor Zurg!

After Zurg we headed toward the front of the park to claim our spot to watch the fireworks. Along the way we met up with this guy who holds a special spot in the little sister’s heart!

She again, like last year asked him to marry her, and he again said yes! Yikes I wonder if I should be planning a wedding?

After Stitch we found our perfect spot for the castle projection, and the fire works and, it was another perfect ending to another perfect day!

Oh and just so you don’t forget…..

Real MEN wear PINK!096

Calm down ladies, he’s already taken! And I am so blessed to call him “mine”!

Disney World Journaling Day 3 We picked some pearls!

Our breakfast reservation this morning was for Chef Mickey’s at 7:15. We were a little late but not too bad. We were seated almost immediately and the food was yum-o!

After our tummies were full we headed over to Epcot!

Our first stop a fast family favorite…..

I {heart} this ride so much and would have ridden it over and over if I could have!

After Soarin’ we did Living With The Land! I was excited that the sisters were a little older this year and appreciated this a little more than last year!

After the land we headed over to the seas to find Nemo and check out Turtle Talk with crush! I love that attraction and find it hilarious!

Next on the list was Journey into the imagination with Figment!

I {heart} Figment so much!

After playing around in the imagination building for quite some time we headed over to Club Cool for some Soda Pop tasting! Along the way the big sister got a little sidetracked with the jumping fountains!

At Club Cool the husband and the big sister were brave enough to re-taste the Beverly! Yuck! The little sister and I wanted nothing to do with that!

Our original plans for this day was to skip the countries since we would be visiting Epcot again later in our trip, but once we finished all we wanted to do in future world nobody was quite ready to leave yet. I really wanted the sisters to do pick a pearl this year so we headed that way and saw a lot of pretty things along the way!

On our way to Japan we stopped in

And Norway

When we arrived at Pick a Pearl the sisters were eagerly searching for that perfect oyster that held their perfect pearl!

We decided to let each sister pick one for themselves and then together pick one for their Grandma.

Bowing to the 3 lucky oysters

And lucky they were!

Grandma’s Pearl measured 7 1/4 mm, the little sister’s pearl was a beautiful Snow White color, and the big sister got twins!!!

Our 4 pearls from just 2 oysters. Very lucky picks indeed!147co

After pick a pearl we got to meet this pretty kitty!

She is so stinkin’ cute! I wonder who made her bow? *wink*158co

After visiting with Marie we decided to call it a day and head back to the hotel to swim! It was a perfect day!

Just ask the little sister!
